NEUROENDOCRINAL CELLS IN THE ADENOMYOSIS, RETROCERVICAL ENDOMETRIOSIS FOCUSES AND IN ENDOMETRIOID OVARIAN CYSTS

Summary. The analisis of neuroendocrinal cells in adenomyosis, retrocervical endometriosis focuses and in endometrioid ovarian cysts was studied. The reliable increase of neuroendocrinal cells in retrocervical endometriosis focuses and in endometrioid ovarian cysts as in locus of endometriosis, so and in endometrium of this patients comparative to normal endometrium and group with adenomyosis was found. The majority of neuroendocrinal cells were in functionally active condition because they contain many argyrophilic granules.
