Abstract
Objective To observe endometriosis surgery using letrozole therapy. Methods 122 patients with endometriosis were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group(n=61 cases) and the control group(n=61 cases). They were treated through operation first. The patients in the observation group were treated through Gn RH-a, while the patients in the control group were treated through letrozole. They were treated for six months. Serum CA125 were detected before and after treatment. Results The total effective rates were 82.0% in the control group and 85.2% in the observation group. There was not a significantly different between two groups(χ2=2.24, P 0.05). Serum CA125 in the control group before and after treatment were(41.6±7.4) μg/L and(21.5±4.6) μg/L respectively. Serum CA125 in the observation group before and after treatment were(40.8±6.8) μg/L and(11.5±3.7) μg/L respectively. Serum CA125 in the two groups after treatment were significantly lowered(t = 3.7708, 6.9018, P 0.01), compared with the control group after treatment, observation group reduced more obviously after treatment(t =2.9016, P 2.9016). The control group, 20 cases occurred adverse reactions during treatment, the rate was 32.8%.The observation group had eight cases of adverse reactions, the rate was 13.1%.Adverse reaction rates in the observation group was significantly less than the control group(χ2 =4.98, P0.05). Conclusions Letrozole and Gn RH-a had the same effectiveness after surgery, letrozole after treatment the prognosis is better, but less adverse reaction.
