Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of modified laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy(LAVH) in the treatment of adenomyosis. Methods:Fifty-three patients with adenomyosis after invalid conservative treatment were selected. Twenty-two patients were treated with modified LAVH,21 cases were treated with vaginal hysterectomy( TVH). Results:The attachment operation and endometriosis lesions burning operation were implemented in the patients treated with modified LAVH. The differences of hospitalization expenses and postoperative anal exhaust time between the patients treated with modified LAVH and TVH were statistically significant( P 0. 01). The differences of operation time, intraoperative bleeding and hospitalization time between the patients treated with modified LAVH and TVH were not statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusions:The modified LAVH is a better means in hysterectomy of patients with adenomyosis.
