Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of physical objects embedded with sensors and other technologies that allow them to connect and exchange data. The IoT is a link between objects in the real world and the virtual world, thereby enabling anytime, anywhere connectivity for anything. This paper explores what it will take for IoT to meet the demands of next-generation intelligent systems in terms of design and adaptability. The possible challenges are also explored, and recommendations necessary to meet those challenges are made as well.
