Abstract

Benign mastopathy is defined as a non-cancerous lesion of the mammary gland, which may be dystrophic, tumoral or inflammatory. This makes clear the highly diverse nature and wide diversity of clinical forms. Borderline lesions constitute a risk factor for breast cancer.
