Abstract

Objective To evaluate the Sanjie Zhentong capsule on endometriosis and adenomyosis the value of the clinical treatment of pain.Methods Sixty one women with adenomyosis or endometriosis, moderate to severe dysmenorrheal,were divided into either test group (Sanjie zhentong capsules,n=45)or control group ( non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,n=16),to carry out a forward-control study.Results Dysmenorrhea symptoms after treatment ,8 cases were complete remission,partial remission in 30 cases, ineffective in 7 cases,the effective was 84.4%. In control group,0 cases of dysmenorrhea was complete remission, partial remission in 6 cases,37.5% efficient. There was no significant improvements in reducing the uterus’ volume.Conclusion It is a safe and effective conservative treatment that Sanjie Zhentong capsule can effectively reduces endometriosis and adenomyosis-associated pain with fewer side effects.
