Mechanism of Pengjiayin Preparation in the Treatment of Ectopic Endometrium in SD Rats

Abstract

Objective To explore the mechanism of Pengjiayin preparation in the treatment of ectopic endometrium in SD rats. Methods To study the mechanism of Wudan Pill and Pengjiayin preparation in the treatment of ectopic endometrium in immunological way. SD rat models of endometriosis were established, and the expression of Survivin and Caspase-3 protein associated with apoptosis was detected in ectopic and eutopic endometrium in rats with the immunohistochemical method, simultaneously apoptotic cells were detected by TUNEL. Results Compared with the control group, the expression of the caspase-3 was increased in the low dosage group, the midium dosage group and the high dosage group of the Pengjiayin preparation, and the increase was also observed with the Wudan Pill group (P 0.05). While comparing with the control group, the expression of survivin was decreased in the midium dosage group and the high dosage group of the Pengjiayin preparation, and also in the Wudan Pill group (P 0.05). Conclusion Pengjiayin preparation and Wudan Pill both can increase the expression of the caspase-3 and decreased the expression of the survivin, which promoting the apoptosis of ectopic endometrium.
