A tentative view on the GNSS receiver measurements

Abstract

In order to understand a problem in the ranging of GNSS receiver, by analyzing the starting point of the actual propagation distance of satellite signals in space, select a sufficient number of known geodetic coordinate points in a large range on the ground, and use the same number of GNSS receiver to conduct synchronous observation of more than four satellites in the sky. Conducting correlation analysis on the three coordinate axis direction errors ⊿x, ⊿y, and ⊿z of the GNSS three-dimensional rectangular coordinate value of this batch of known points, thus obtaining a tentative view that the GNSS range finding should actually take the spatial coordinates of the satellite when the receiver receives the satellite signal as the starting point!
