Abstract

Objective To explore the expression and significance of VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 in Endometriosis, and their roles in evaluation of the aftersurgical outcome. Methods The expression of serum VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 in 31 Endometriosis samples paired with 35 samples of the corresponding normal people were examined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),before and after the operation. Results VEGFR-1,VEGFR-2 expressed to a different degree in EM before operation,(P0.01).In addition, the expression of VEGFR-1 correlated with the level of r-AFS in EM.After surgery, the circulating level of VEGFR-1 became lower than that of before surgery. But the level of VEGFR-2 had no change. Conclusions The high expression of circulating VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 may play an important role in promoting the proliferation and provoking angiogenesis of EM cells.
