Analysis on the Clinical Features and Influencing Factors of Ovarian Endometriosis

Objective To analyze the clinical features and influencing factors of ovarian endometriosis (OEM), and provide reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of ovarian endometriosis. Methods The clinical data of 60 patients with ovarian endometriosis in our hospital from May 2009 to September 2011 were retrospectively analyzed and the clinical features were summerized. Other 60 patients with benign adnexal masses were selected as the control group. The influencing factors of ovarian endometriosis were compared and analyzed. Results Amomg 60 cases of ovarian endometriosis, the clinical manifestations were progressive dysmenorrhea in 43 cases, menstrual abnormalities in 39 cases, pelvic tumor found by B ultrasonography in 26 cases, abnormal CA125 examination in 34 cases and pelvic complications in 29 cases. The differences of marriage age, number of births, dysmenorrhea, menstrual cycle, gynecological operation history had statistical significance between the observation group (OEM group) and the control group (benign adnexal mass group), P 0.05. Conclusions The main clinical manifestations of ovarian endometriosis are as follows: progressive dysmenorrhea, menstrual abnormalities and pelvic mass. B ultrasound and CA125 contribute to the diagnosis of ovarian endometriosis , and there is high probability of ovarian endometriosis associated with other pelvic diseases. Late marriage, dysmenorrhea gynecological operation history may be the risk factors of ovarian endometriosis. Long cycle of menstruation and more births may be the protective factors of OEM.
