Abstract
In the hot periods of the year, people’s work efficiency is affected by comfort conditions which are provided by an air conditioning system. Today, most power consumption and environmentally unfriendly systems are used as an air conditioning systems. For these reasons, An economical and environmentally friendly system with a new design is presented in this paper. The proposed design uses air and water as a working fluid with photovoltaic panels (PV) for providing the required electric power. The new technique is used to supply additional cooling for air and water by using thermoelectric panels. This new design consists of a cooled wall with displacement ventilation combined with cooling evaporative devices which are powered by PV panels. The analysis of the heat and mass transfer of the proposed system is presented. Computational fluid dynamic (CFD) is utilized for the investigation of thermal comfort conditioning in an occupied zone.
