Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical values of the color Doppler ultrasound ,energy imaging and sonohysterography in the differential diagnosis of adenomyosis and hysteromyoma.Methods:32 cases of adenomyosis and 38 cases of hysteromyoma were proved by surgical and pathological examination ,but before operation all of patients checked with color Doppler ultrasound and energy imaging, besides, sonohysterography with 3% hydrogen peroxide has been used. Results:Color Doppler Sonographic examination results show:27 cases had benn diagnosed before operation among 32 cases of adenomyosis,meanwhile,38 cases of hysteromyoma,27 cases had been diagnosed ,its diagnostic accuracy of adenomyosis is 87.14%. Sonohysterography with 3% hydrogen peroxide examination results show:25 cases showed positive among 32 cases of adenomyosis. None showed positive among 38 cases of hysteromyoma, its diagnostic specificity of adenomyosis is 100%,accuracy is 90.00%.Combined two of them to diagnose adenomyosis, the result reveals that positive predictive value is 100%,negative predictive value is 79.17% and accuracy rate is 85.71%. Conclusion:Color Doppler ultrasound, energy imaging and sonohysterography are helpful for the diagnosis of hysteromyoma, and it can improve diagnostic accuracy of adenomyosis by combining them.
