Vivendo com endometriose: o impacto da fisioterapia na vida das mulheres
This qualitative study investigated the impact of urogynecological physiotherapy on the lives of five women diagnosed with endometriosis. Participants completed structured questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, which were analyzed using content analysis to assess changes in their physical and emotional well-being. The findings indicated that physiotherapy significantly reduced pelvic pain, relaxed pelvic floor muscles, improved functional capacity, and enhanced overall quality of life and autonomy. This paper is centrally about endometriosis, specifically examining how physiotherapy interventions contribute to symptom management and quality of life improvements for affected women.
