This prospective observational study assessed causes of infertility in 35 women aged 16–46 by performing diagnostic laparoscopy at Imdad Hospital and Mahnaz Laparoscopy Center in Quetta from 1 January to 31 December 2013, after thorough clinical evaluation. The most frequently identified pathology was pelvic tuberculosis, followed by endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and pelvic adhesions, with normal laparoscopy findings in 8.6% of women; bilateral tubal blockage was more common than unilateral blockage. The paper reports that 37.1% of participants were asymptomatic and that few complications occurred aside from nausea, vomiting, pain, and mild fever, but it does not provide detailed selection criteria beyond inclusion of primary and secondary infertility. This paper centrally about endometriosis — endometriosis was identified as one of the leading laparoscopic causes of infertility in the study population.
