Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of health education process of levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system in the treatment of adenomyosis. Methods: Forty-eight patients with adenomyosis were treated with levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system, and health education process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation was used. Results: Forty-three patients showed different degree anxiety before operation, and only three of them still showed slightly anxiety after the health education. No patient broke out infection and uncompliance. Conclusion: Health education process could increase the related knowledge, change the behavior and enhance the compliance of patient.
