Evaluation and Management of Chronic Pelvic Pain

Chronic pelvic pain (CPP) is a challenging condition that affects up to 15% of females in the United States. Like other chronic pain syndromes, CPP is impacted by various biopsychosocial factors and necessitates a multimodal strategy for effective pain control. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the clinical assessment and medical treatment of CPP, adopting a comprehensive approach and describing the tools to build a multidisciplinary team.
