This study aimed at investigating the impact of building density and interval of arterial roads type 2 from each other in a ring-radial network and relationship among them to obtain optimal values for traffic parameters. In this study, by designing a radial network in two traffic patterns with operating interval of roads with 800 m and 1200 m and building density from 100 to 250 percent. Traffic parameter were extracted after simulation of above-mentioned networks. Multivariate regression and Genetic Programming (GP) were utilized to present a two-objective model to optimize traffic parameters. Using multivariate regression, the model accuracy was %889 and %949 for building density and arterial roads type 1, respectively. Variables of density, delay time, and queue length had greater effect on building density and variables of density, stopping time, operating Speed and queue length had a greater effect on road intervals. The model accuracy of GP for two models of building density and operating interval of arterial roads type 1 was %993 and %9831, respectively. As a result, the accuracy of GP for making models was higher than the accuracy of multivariate regression. Considering two-objective models, the building density and operating interval of road type 1 were optimized using the Pareto principle. The results showed that a building density of %233 and an operating interval of roads type 1 by 200 m long result in the best ring-radial network. urban users. This study aimed at investigating the impact of building density and interval of arterial roads type 2 from each other in a ring-radial network and relationship among them to obtain optimal values for traffic parameters. In this study, by designing a radial network in two traffic patterns with operating interval of roads with 800 m and 1200 m and building density from 100 to 250 percent. Traffic parameter were extracted after simulation of above-mentioned networks. Multivariate regression and Genetic Programming (GP) were utilized to present a two-objective model to optimize traffic parameters. Using multivariate regression, the model accuracy was %889 and %949 for building density and arterial roads type 1, respectively. Variables of density, delay time, and queue length had greater effect on building density and variables of density, stopping time, operating Speed and queue length had a greater effect on road intervals. The model accuracy of GP for two models of building density and operating interval of arterial roads type 1 was %993 and %9831, respectively. As a result, the accuracy of GP for making models was higher than the accuracy of multivariate regression. Considering two-objective models, the building density and operating interval of road type 1 were optimized using the Pareto principle.
