Abstract
Abstract Resume In this article, we proposed a band pass filter; the proposed filter is mainly based on a half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW). The proposed filter operates in S band with a measured transmitted bandwidth of 1.1 GHz. The proposed structure has dimensions, of 48.5 mm × 16 mm with a measured insertion loss of -1.2 dB. The upper stopband rejection range from 4 GHz to 8 GHz with an attenuation below -15 dB. The filter operates in a transmission bandwidth of [2.9 GHz - 4 GHz] with a fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 27.5 %. A good agreement is reported between the measured and simulated results.
