Abstract
Endometriosis is an enigmatic disease that may go undiagnosed for years, it commonly associated with significant morbidity and reduction in quality of life among reproductive age females(10%). It is defined as the presence of endometrial like tissue ( glands /stroma) outside the uterus.It affects 20-50% of women with infertility and 60% with chronic pelvic pain. Hence the present study was undertaken to study various presentation of endometriosis and its outcomes. Aims: 1.To studies the various clinical presentations of endometriosis and its outcomes. Method: A Retrospective Observational study carried out at ESIC-PGIMSR, RAJAJINAGAR, BENGALURU, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, (JAN 2018 DEC 2020). The patients who were diagnosed to have endometriosis preoperatively, intraoperatively and postopertively were included in the study. Demographic profile, risk factors, preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative events were recorded.
