The Effect of Uterine Arterial Embolization in 15 Cases with Adenomyosis

Abstract
Objective To explore the value of uterine arterial embolization(UAE) in adenomyosis. Methods UAE was performed by Seldinger's technique in 15 patients with adenomyosis. Results After UAE 3,6,12 months,the volume of uterine decreased distinctly,menorrhagia reduced clear,remission rate of dysmenorrhea was evidently,clinical symptoms were obviously improved. Conclusion Uterine artery embolization for adenomyosis is a new,safe,effective,less-complications,short-time recovery therapy.
