A comparison between laparoscopic ovarian cyst water cushion plus aspirator water separation and open manual decollement:with a report of 60 cases

Objective: To investigate the clinical application value of laparoscopic ovarian cyst water cushion plus aspirator water separation and open manual decollement. Methods: Sixty patients with ovarian cyst whose drug treatment was not curative or ovarian cyst persisted for more than half a year received surgery from Jan. 2012 to Oct. 2014,they were equally separated into 2 groups,30 patients with laparoscopic water separation were selected as experiment group,and 30 patients with open surgery were selected as control group. Retrospective analysis was made. Results: No statistically significant differences were found in the comparison of clinical course,etiology,tumor diameter,nature,position( P 0. 05). The average operation time,intraoperative bleeding,postoperative eating time and ambulation time of experimental group were significantly less than those of the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusions: Using water for shelling out of the ovarian cyst with water cushion and aspirator by laparoscopy has following advantages: little blood loss,minimal trauma,quick recovery,few complications,cosmetic incision,low rate of antibiotic usage,exact therapeutic effect and short hospitalization time,preserving the normal ovarian tissue as much as possible. This gynecologic surgery is worthy of promotion.
