Infertility and ovarian endometriosis patients: treatment efficacy

Abstract

The study included 59 patients of reproductive age with ovarian endometriosis and infertility. Depending on differentiated tactics, taking into account the availability of relapsing forms of ovarian endometriosis, ovarian reserve status, size endometrioma, patients were divided into 2 groups. In group 1 (n=13) conducted an empirical therapy, in group 2 (n=46) - surgery followed by hormone therapy, pregnancy rate after treatment was assessed at 6 and 12 months, respectively. In infertile patients with endometriosis ovarian pregnancy rate after completion of empirical therapy and two-step regimen was 30,8 and 43,5%, respectively.
