Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship IL-6 IL8 with occurrence and development of endometriosis and ovarian cancer. Methods:Thirty patients with endometriosis and as were selected as study group.Ten of patients with ovarian cancer.Thirty patients with benige ovarian tumor and thirty normal women as control group.IL-6,IL-8 concentrations in peritoneal fluid and serum were detected by enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay(ELISA).Results:The serum and peritoneal fluid levels of IL-6,IL-8 were significantly higher in the endometriosis and ovarian cancer than those in the controls(P0.01),but were not significantly between endometriosis and ovarian cancer(P0.05).Conclusion:Unusual levels of IL-6 IL-8 in peritoneal fluid of endometriosis patients account for imbalance of immunological. It may play a role in pathogenesis of endometriosis.Detection of serum IL-6 and IL-8 levels in patients with endometriosis might be one of assessing the curative effect and prognosis.
