Abstract

Objective To determine the clinical features of endometriosis in Cesarean scar in abdominal wall,in order to provide theoretical basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods 10 cases of endometriosis were reviewed. All the cases were treated with operation therapy thoroughly in order to remove the lesion. Results The diameters of the lesion were from 1.0 cm to 6.0 cm,and had an unclear boundary. The diagnosis of endometriosis was confirmed by pathologists.Observation showed that none was recurred after operation. Conclusion Complete surgical removal is the only definitely effective method for treatment of endometriosis, and the key of avoiding transplantation of endometrium into the abdominal wall is cleaning the abdominal incision.
