Abstract
This paper deals with shifting from ‘remote emergency instruction’ to more ‘quality online learning’ (Fry 2022) in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions between March 2020 and summer 2021. It considers the value of predictability and simplicity in the context of emergency provision, and the value of presence in online learning.
