A New Graduate Nurses Career Planning and Implementation Manual

Objective: To design a career manual for new graduate nurses and verify the use of it. Method: Design a new graduate nurse’s career manual and applying it to clinical new graduate nurses, Nominal Group Technology were adopted to evaluate the contents of the manuals. Participants in the consensus meeting from new graduate nurses (n = 60，N=488) participated in the evaluation of the study manual. Results: Firstly, there are 9 important advantages,4 important disadvantages and 2 improvement area in Manual. Secondly, the turnover rate of hospital nurses using the manual has fallen. Conclusion: This manual is suitable for new graduate nurses.
