Therapeutic Efficacy of Laparoscopic Presacral Neurectomy in Treatment of 35 Patients with Endometriosis

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of laparoscopic presacral neurectomy in the treatment of endometriosis complicated with dysmenorrhea.Methods Seventy-two patients with endometriosis complicated with dysmenorrhea admitted to Liuyang Municipal Hospital of Maternal and Child Health from January to November,2009 were randomly divided into two groups.35 patients in observation group received laparoscopic presacral neurectomy,while 37 patients in control group received laparoscopic lesion resection.All patients were followed up for 18 menstrual cycles,and then we compared the surgical efficacy between the two groups.Results There were statistically significant differences in operation time,hospital stay,and blood loss in operation between observation group and control group(P0.05).The surgical efficacy of observation group at the 3rd,6th,12th,and 18th months after laparoscopic operation was better than that in control group,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant between the two groups(all P0.05).Conclusions Endometriosis complicated with dysmenorrhea treated with laparoscopic presacral neurectomy is of quick recovery,little trauma,and significant effect,so it is worthy of being popularized and applied in clinical practice.
