Es wird über zwei Patientinnen berichtet, bei denen durch eine Endometriose Stenosen im Bereich des Dick darms aufgetreten waren. Pathogenetisch erklärt sich diese Dickdarmendometriose am ehesten durch die Implantationstheorie. Die Symptomatik mit röntgenologischen und endoskopischen Befunden wird geschildert. Therapeutisch kommt - neben der Hormonbehandlung - bei den ausgedehnten Befunden im Bereich des Darmes in erster Linie die Kontinuitätsresektion in Frage.

Abstract Two cases of endometriosis of the large bowel are reported which caused stenosis of the large bowel. The pathogenesis of these cases of endometriosis of the large bowel is best explained by the Implantation theory. The symptoms and signs including the radiological and endoscopic findings are described. The treatment may be by hormones or by resection of the affected segment of the bowel with end to end anastomosis.
