Abstract

Objective To study the value of laparoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of female infertility. Methods Laparoscopy was applied to diagnose and treat 31 cases of primary infertility and 39 cases of secondary infertility. The positive rates of laparoscopy were investigated. The composition rates and the treatment effects of different disease causes were compared. The distribution of the disease causes and the treatment effects were analyzed for difference. Results The positive rate detected by laparoscopy(100%) was higher than that detected by gynecologial examination(20%) and that detected by imaging examination(51.4%)(all with P0.05).There was no statistical significant difference between the distributions of disease causes of the two types of patients(P0.05).The composition rates of fallopian tube factors and endometriosis causes were higher than those of uterus factors and ovarium factors(P0.05).Generally speaking, the pregnancy success rate of endometriosis after operation(95.2%) was significantly higher than those of other causes(P0.05).Conclusion The positive rate of laparoscopic detection is quite high. The distribution of disease causes of primary infertility and secondary infertility are quite similar,in which the fallopian tube factors and endometriosis the main causes.
