Efficiency of treatment and diagnostic algorithms in the rehabilitation program of women after hysterectomy with opportunist salpingectomy due to uterine myoma
This study evaluated a rehabilitation program for women after hysterectomy with salpingectomy for uterine fibroids, finding it reduced genitourinary syndrome symptoms like atrophy, incontinence, and prolapse.

The study evaluated the effectiveness of a structured rehabilitation program for genitourinary syndrome in 160 reproductive-age women after hysterectomy with opportunistic salpingectomy for uterine myoma, using assessments of pelvic organ status (POP-Q, Barlow scale), vaginoscopy, vaginal pH and microbiota, vaginal health index, and symptom impact on quality of life (MOS SF-36). The rehabilitation algorithm included local hyaluronic acid and lactobacillus plus vitamin D, with topical estrogens for severe cases and estradiol plus vitamin D for vasomotor symptoms. At 1 year post-surgery, manifestations such as vaginal mucosal hypotrophy, urinary incontinence, and pathological microscopic findings were common, and by 5 years the proposed algorithm was reported to eliminate or reduce genitourinary symptoms more than standard postoperative management. A limitation noted is that some outcomes related to post-surgical quality-of-life changes in the psycho-emotional sphere persisted in a substantial proportion of women. This paper does not explicitly discuss endometriosis or adenomyosis; it was included in the corpus via a keyword match in the upstream search index.
