Study of the relationship between EMAb,ASAb and endometriosis

Objective:To study the expression of endometrial antibody (EMAb) and anti-sperm antibody (ASAb) in the serum of endometriosis,and to reveal the relationship between EMAb,ASAb and endometriosis.Methods:Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was applied to detect EMAb and ASAb in 164 serum samples of endometriosis (EMT group) and 164 healthy women (control group).Results:The positive rate of EMAb 59.76% (98 /164) in the EMT group that significantly higher than that of control group 7.32% (12 /164) (P 0.01),and the positive rate of ASAb 15.85% (26 /164) was also higher than that of control group 2.44% (4 /164) (P 0.01) ;The positive rate of EMAb 81.03% (47 /58) in infertility group was significantly higher than that of fertility group 48.11% (51 /106) (P 0.05),and the positive rate of ASAb 36.21% (21 /58) was higher than that of control group 4.72% (5 /106) (P 0.01).Conclusion:EMAb and ASAb are closely related to endometriosis;EMAb and ASAb are part of reasons for infertility of endometriosis and EMAb can be an index for diagnosis of endometriosis.
