Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Chinese and western medicine for endometriosis (EM) after laparoscopic surgery. Methods 94 patients with EM who had taken laparoscopic surgery were divided into a conrol group, treated with mifepristone, and an observation group, treated with traditional Chinese medicine and mifepristone,47 cases for each group. After the treatment, the efficacies of both groups were observed. Results The total effective rate was 95.74% in the observation group and was 82.98% in the control group(P < 0.05).The pain relief rate,1 year cumulative pregnancy rate were higher, the recurrence rate and the incidence of adverse reactions were lower, the recovery time and menstruation recovery time were shorter, and the serum CA125 level was lower in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusions Laparoscopic surgery combined with Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of EM is effective, safe, and reliable and can reduce adverse reactions, lower the recurrence rate, and improve the patients' postoperative pregnant rate.
