Multi-Objective Linear Optimization on Immediate Distributing poultry with Time Windows: Modellings and Applications

Abstract

Abstract The informatization popularization in livestock and poultry breeding industry has become the mainstream development trend. The optimal scheduling of poultry is mainly divided into two categories: the optimal design of resource allocation and the maximum carrying capacity of existing equipment. This article proposes a multi-objective optimization model which can reduce the cost of transports, improve the efficiency of transferring, save manpower costs, and decrease the death rate of poultries. Two versions of the model are proposed from different views. One is a sophisticated, elaborated and ideal model, which considers all conditions. It can obtain a best solution with high computational complexity.The other one is a simplified and concise version which can be applied to the real production more easily. It can obtain an acceptable solution with high speed. The time window method based on multi-objective mixed integer is introduced. An optimization method based on adaptive algorithm is adopted. The optimization model decomposed into several sub-models to reduce the data scale and obtain the sub-optimal feasible scheme. Experiments are implemented for two situations. The latter optimization scheme is more suitable and easy for the actual production and operation environment and the result is simple. The former optimization scheme is conducive to the further study of the optimization scheme and easy to expand the application scenes. The model and the two solutions proposed in this article not only solve the problem of optimal scheduling of poultry distribution, but also have strong stability and practical application value.
