Bu retrospektif çalışmada, Kahramanmaraş Elbistan İlçe Devlet Hastanesinde Ocak 2017–Ağustos 2018 arasında karın duvarında kitle nedeniyle opere edilip patoloji sonucu “karın duvarı endometriozisi” olarak raporlanan 17 hastanın dosya verileri incelenmiştir. Hastalarda 20–38 yaş aralığı (ortanca 29) bildirilmiş; 16/17’sinde (%94,1) sezaryen öyküsü olduğu, 15/17’sinde (%88,2) siklik ağrı ve ele gelen kitle şikayetinin bulunduğu ve görüntüleme olarak çoğunlukla ultrasonografinin (%76,4) kullanıldığı belirtilmiştir; 3 hastada desmoid tümörle ayrımın net yapılamadığı ve kitle ön tanısı ile opere edildikleri, takip süresinin ortalama 9,5 ay olduğu ve hiçbir hastada nüks gelişmediği raporlanmıştır. Çalışmanın temel kısıtlılığı tek merkezli retrospektif dosya incelemesi olması ve takip süresinin sınırlı aralıkta kalmasıdır.
