Diaphragmatic Endometriosis

Endometriosis can be treated medically or surgically. Medical treatment gives excellent short-term pain relief, but lesions persist and symptoms recur, therefore endometriosis must be approached surgically. Surgical treatment can be open or endoscopic. The improved illumination and magnification, and the ability to work close to the tissues, makes laparoscopy the preferred approach to this disease.
