Abstract
Objective:To study the expression of transforming growth factor beta 1(TGF-β1) and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) in human endometriosis,to explore the role of TGF-β1and EGFR in the pathogenesis of endometriosis.Methods:Immunohistochem-ical SP method was used to detect the expression of TGF-β1 and EGFR in the ectopic and eutopic endometrium of 10 cases with endometriosis, and in the normal endometrium of 10 cases without endometriosis. Results:The expression of TGF-β1 in ectopic endometrium of endometriosis were significantly higher than that in eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium(P0.05);There was no significant difference between the expression of TGF-β1 in eutopic endometrium of human endometriosis and normal endometrium(P0.05).The expression of EGFR in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium were significantly lower than that in normal endometrium(P0.05);There was no significant difference between the expression of EGFR in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium(P0.05).Conclusion:The abnormal expression of TGF-β1 and EGFR might be correlation with the pathogenesis of human endometriosis.
