Abstract
Objective
To investigate the clinical curative effect of GnRH antagonists assisted laparoscopic surgery on ovarian endometriotic cysts.
Methods
One hundred and fourteen patients with ovarian endometriotic cysts who were treated from April 2011 to July 2015 were selected as the study objects. They were randomly divided into the observation group and control group, with 57 cases in each group. Both of the two groups were treated with laparoscopic surgery out of menstrual cycle. The observation group was treated with GnRH antagonists (GnRH-a) assisted therapy after surgery. The contents of serum luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and estradiol (E2) in the two groups were detected by radioimmunoassay before surgery and at subsequent visit 3 months after surgery. With follow-up, the clinical curative effects at 3 months after operation, the incidence rates of adverse reactions in 1 year after surgery, recurrence rate and pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups.
Results
Three months after surgery, the contents of LH, FSH and E2 in the observation group [(3.56±1.26) U/L, (4.84±1.69) U/L, (117.45±41.64) pmol/ml] decreased more significantly than those in the control group [(6.73±1.86) U/L, (6.27±2.13) U/L, (183.24±54.73)pmol/ml] (P 0.05). The recurrence rate in the observation group (5.26%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (17.54%, P<0.05). The pregnancy rate in patients who tended to be pregnant (77.14%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (53.66%) (P<0.05).
Conclusions
To apply GnRH-a assisted therapy in patients with ovarian endometriotic cysts after laparoscopic surgery can effectively inhibit the serum estrogen level, reduce the recurrence rate and significantly improve the prognosis. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
