Understanding Chatbot Adoption in Daily Life: A PLS-SEM Approach

Abstract

Machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) are becoming more common in our daily lives. This is changing how we use technology. Chatbots, which are talking tools driven by AI that make it easier for people to use digital services, are one of the most common examples. A technique called Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is used in this study to look into how people use robots in their daily lives.416 people filled out a poll with 52 questions to learn more about important things like how useful people think robots are, how easy they are to use, social impact, trust, and their plans to use them. Ethical standards are followed in the study by getting full permission, keeping participants' privacy, and including a range of opinions. The results give developers useful information about what makes people want to use chatbots, which helps them make better robot systems that are easier for people to use. The study also talks about possible benefits for society, like making it easier to use technology and conserving resources. UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and DOI (Diffusion of Innovation) were used as guides for the study. The paper says that more study could be done on chatbots' effects on people of different ages, countries, and businesses, as well as on their long-term effects. To keep the study useful, it stresses careful recording, teamwork, and sharing of information.
