These varices are often responsible for Gastrointestinal (GI) hemorrhagic complications. Ectopic varices are defined as large portosystemic venous collaterals arising anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract outside the eso-cardial region. We reported a rare case of upper GI hemorrhage from ectopic duodenal varices.
