Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical value of vascular endothelial growth factor and anti-endometrial antibody levels for diagnosis and evaluation in endometriosis Methods 50 patients with EMS in the Fifth People′s Hospital of Shanghai City Affiliated to Fudan University form January 2006 to December 2009 were selected as observation group,45 healthy volunteers were chosen as control group.VEGF and EMAb were detected and compared before and after the treatment. Results ①VEGF [(182.5±14.7) ng/L],EMAb [(0.37±0.09) ng/L],positive rate of EMAb [62.0%(31/50)] in observation group before the treatment were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically sig nificant(P 0.05).②Sensitivity and specific degrees of VEGF combined with EMAb were higher than those of sin gle detection.③VEGF [(120.1±18.4) ng/L] and positive rate of EMAb [28.0%(14/50)] after the treatment in observa tion group were lower than those before the treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The combined detection of VEGF and EMAb levels has better clinical value in auxiliary diagnosis and evalu ation of endometriosis.
