Abstract
Objective To compare the localization of adhesion proteins laminin and tenascin in endometrium and endometriosis. Methods The specimens of twenty-two cases with endometriosis were studied retrospectively by S-P immunohistohemical stainings. For controls, thirty samples of normal endometrium were also analysed. Results The positive expression of LN in endometriosis did not show observable difference from the normal. The positive of TN in endometriosis was significantly higher than that in the normal endometriosis. Conclusion LN may not be an effective indicator in endometriosis. In the progression and development of endometriiosis, TN may play an important role.
