Methods and materials: A cross-sectional study on 38 patients from Al-Mowasat University Hospital. A paper questionnaire was used through which patient information was collected. The data was entered into the AMSL program and analyzed by the researchers in order to reach the goal of the study. Results: The percentage of males was 38.2% and the percentage of females was 15.8%, and the average age of the patients was 64.21 ± 3.699 years. More than two-thirds of the patients lived in restricted areas, and the percentage of smokers was 55.3%. The average age of patients with non-small cell lung cancer was 65.47 ± 2.623, and the average age of the patients Those with small cell lung cancer: 59.5 ± 3.423, statistical significance = 0.000, and the incidence of SCC is the most common, at 50%. Conclusion: There are significant differences in the ages of patients depending on the type of lung cancer, there is no statistically significant relationship between gender and the type of lung cancer, there is no significant relationship between the type of lung cancer and smoking, and there is no statistically significant relationship between residence and the type of lung cancer in patients.
