In order to quantitatively study the color design of subway guidance systems, this study introduces a color design evaluation method for subway guidance systems based on the TFN-AHP and cloud model. At first, based on the color function characteristics of subway guidance, user interviews, and literature research, a color design evaluation index system for subway guidance system was established from three aspects: information expression, environmental integration, and emotional connection. Furthermore, to handle uncertain evaluation information, triangular fuzzy numbers were integrated with AHP to calculate the weights of various indices. Subsequently, the introduction of cloud model theory generated the digital features and comprehensive cloud maps of the cloud model, effectively reducing the ambiguity and randomness of color design evaluation in subway guidance systems. Finally, a comprehensive evaluation of the color design for the subway guidance system was carried out. Three representative color design samples of subway guidance systems in China were studied using the proposed method, and the conclusions are as follows: (1) The color design within the subway guidance system is mainly concerned with functional aspects of information expression. (2) The comprehensive cloud and the standard cloud exhibit distinctions in the color evaluation of subway guidance systems. (3) Weight fluctuations have an impact on the evaluation results of color design in subway guidance systems. experience. In order to quantitatively study the color design of subway guidance systems, this study introduces a color design evaluation method for subway guidance systems based on the TFN-AHP and cloud model. At first, based on the color function characteristics of subway guidance, user interviews, and literature research, a color design evaluation index system for subway guidance system was established from three aspects: information expression, environmental integration, and emotional connection. Furthermore, to handle uncertain evaluation information, triangular fuzzy numbers were integrated with AHP to calculate the weights of various indices. Subsequently, the introduction of cloud model theory generated the digital features and comprehensive cloud maps of the cloud model, effectively reducing the ambiguity and randomness of color design evaluation in subway guidance systems. Finally, a comprehensive evaluation of the color design for the subway guidance system was carried out. Three representative color design samples of subway guidance systems in China were studied using the proposed method, and the conclusions are as follows: (1) The color design within the subway guidance system is mainly concerned with functional aspects of information expression. (2) The comprehensive cloud and the standard cloud exhibit distinctions in the color evaluation of subway guidance systems.
