Abstract
EnglishThe presence of endometrial ectopic functional tissue outside the uterine cavity defines endometriosis, and intestinal involvement is not usual. We present the case of a woman with a progressive intestinal subocclusion secondary to ileal stenosis-adherence due to endometriosis focus, which was not suspected as a possible cause since it was not included in the patient's personal history who performed gynecological examinations in a private center.
