An Analysis of Recurrence Factors in 237 Cases with Endometriosis Cyst of Ovary

Objective To discuss the prognosis and related factors of endometriosis cyst of ovary after different types of surgery treatment.Methods The clinical information of 237 patients were retrospectively analyzed.All cases were diagnosed as endometriosis cyst of ovary which were treated by surgery and proved by pathology examination.The recurrent rate of different types of operation and variables were evaluated with grouped t-test、Chi-Square test respectively.While the univariate,multivariate COX regression analyses were performed to determine the related recurrence factors of endometriosis.Results (1) The total recurrence rate after operation was 31.2%.There were significant differences in recurrence rate between radical operation and other types of operations(P0.05).(2) There were no significant differences in the grade of general subjective symptom of life quality among different types of operation(P0.05).(3) There were significant differences in times of gravidity before operation,times of delivery before operation,postoperative delivery,the diameter of cyst,history of endometriosis operation tenderness nodules at cul-de-sac,side of endometrioma,using anti-conglutination medicineetc between recurrence group and non-recurrence group.(4)The results of the multivariate COX regression analyses showed that Protection factors were times of delivery before operation,postoperative delivery and using anti-conglutination medicine and that risk factors were diameter of cyst tenderness nodules at cul-de-sac,left side of endometrioma and the history of endometriosis operation.Conclusion The protective factors of recurrence of endometriosis include times of delivery before operation,postoperative delivery and using anti-conglutination medicine.The risk factors of endometriosis include diameter of cyst,tenderness nodules at cul-de-sac,left side of endometrioma and the history of endometriosis operation.
