Abstract

To assess the efficacy of laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of women with infertility.Retrospective analysis of 112 women with infertility underwent laparoscopic operation according to the laparoscopic findings.Pelvic adhesion, endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome were common causes of infertility. There was significant difference in diagnosis of fallopian tube patency between laparoscopy and hysterosalpingography(HSG).After laparoscopic operation, the pregnancy rates were 57.1%(12/21)in the simple pelvic adhesion group, 52.2%(12/23)in the endometriosis group ,and 53.8%(7/13)in the polycystic ovarian syndrome group ,respectively.[Conclusion]Laparoscopy helps to clarify causes of infertility and to improve the effect of treatment and pregnancy rate.
