Investigation and analysis on the prevalence of gynecological diseases in the public institutions in Hainan area

Objective To analyze the prevalence of gynecological diseases and provide suggestion for the healthcare of the females.Methods Analysis was done on the gynecological situation of the females in the public institutions in Hainan from 2010 to 2012.Results A total of 8 778 women were physically checked,of which 2 687(30.61%) were suffering from gynecological diseases,and 893 were suffering more than one kinds of gynecological disease.The diseases from high to low in incidence were hyperplasia of breast(12.76%),cervix Naboth cyst(10.77%),breast cyst(9.98%),cervical hypertrophy(9.24%),cervical polyps,cervical erosion,breast fibroma,adenomyosis,cervicitis.Breast hyperplasia mainly occurred in the females under the age of 50,and the incidence was relatively high in the females under 40 years old.Naboth cyst,breast cyst,cervical hypertrophy mainly occurred in the females aged 40~50 years old.Conclusion The females under 50 years old in the public institutions in Hainan have poor gynecological health.The gynecological health knowledge should be popularized to improve their health.
