Workplace Violence at Apple Inc. as a Result of Prejudice

Abstract
Violence has become a most common phenomenon in workplaces. Violence in the workplace to about three decades ago after it was classified among the US epidemic. For a long time, violence in the organization and the workplace has become one of the main subjects of concern in companies, labor firms, and government agencies in the US. At the workplace, violence includes suicide, robbery, homicide, sexual harassment and rape, assault, and threats to other workers. Violence at the workplace has been associated with reduced quality of life, decreased staff morale, counseling cost, absenteeism, increased turnover, and reduced productivity. It can also deteriorate the quality of the performance. Incidences of violence at the workplace have been rising for the past fifteen years. Apple is one of the companies with cases regarding workplace violence and violation of the code of conduct. Apple Inc. is one of the most successful and largest companies in the world. The performance of Apple for the previous year shows that the Company is capable of providing the customers with products that help enrich its daily operation.
