This study analyzes reproductive age women with uterine leiomyoma to evaluate diagnostic accuracy and clinical management strategies. The authors found that ambulatory monitoring often underestimates disease prevalence, while the integration of ultrasound and endoscopic techniques improves diagnostic precision by 10 to 15 percent. A significant portion of patients presented with comorbidities, including tubo-peritoneal infertility in 42 percent and endometriosis in 36 percent, which must be addressed during postoperative care. Relevance to endometriosis: listed as a frequent comorbidity in women with uterine leiomyoma, though the paper's main focus is fibroid diagnostics and treatment.
