Uteroscope combined with laparoscope for treatment of female infertility caused by pelvic lesions and uterine cavity disease

Abstract

Objective To explore the values of uteroscope combined with laparoscope in treatment of female infertility caused by pelvic lesions and uterine cavity disease. Methods The results,methods,complications and conceptions of 68 female infertility treated by uteroscope combined with laparoscope were analyzed. Results Among the 68 patients,there were 26 patients with pelvic adhesions,12 patients with endometriosis,8 patients with polycystic ovaries,6 patients with uterine polypus or myoma,4 patients with septum or intrauterine adhesion,2 patients with foreign bodies and 6 patients with 2 lesions. All the lesions above mentioned were treated under endoscope. The complication rate in the 68 patients was 16. 8%. The conception rate was 75% after 1 year of treatment. Conclusion The uteroscope combined with laparoscope can not only find out pelvic or uterus lesions which lead to female infertility,but also provide treatment under endoscope.
